Hiring rooms at Bristol Therapy Rooms
Who can hire the rooms?
Bristol Therapy Rooms is for professional therapeutic practitioners, including counsellors, psychotherapists, bodyworkers, massage practitioners, reflexologists, coaches and related practitioners.
We may ask about your professional background, intended use of the room and insurance before confirming room use.
Are the rooms suitable for counselling and psychotherapy?
Yes. The rooms are primarily used by counsellors and psychotherapists and are set up to feel calm, private, comfortable and professional.
Are the rooms suitable for massage and bodywork?
Yes. Massage practitioners, bodyworkers and reflexologists are welcome. Massage tables are available in all six rooms.
How many rooms are there?
There are six rooms: Jade, Amber, Rose, Teal, Lilac and Jasmine.
Jade, Amber, Rose and Teal are standard rooms with desks. Lilac and Jasmine are quiet loft rooms with no desk and a lower rate.
Why are Lilac and Jasmine priced differently?
Lilac and Jasmine are quiet, comfortable loft rooms with a slightly different practical setup, including no desk. They are priced lower than the standard rooms for weekday fixed-slot and ad-hoc bookings.
They are still warm, private and suitable for therapeutic work.
Booking options
Can I book a regular weekly slot?
Yes. Fixed weekly slots are available for practitioners who want to use a room at the same time each week. Our Rates and Availability page shows the periods currently available, but you can request any start and finish times within those periods, provided the booking is for at least three hours.
Can I book ad-hoc?
Yes. Flexible ad-hoc bookings are available after onboarding.
Flexible bookings are made through the online booking system and work well for practitioners who need occasional room use or extra hours around a fixed slot.
How does availability work?
Our availability table shows current gaps for fixed weekly slots. It is intended as a guide only, because availability can change and it does not show every possible ad-hoc booking option.
Fixed slots are agreed by email. Flexible bookings are made through the online booking system once you have joined.
Please contact us if you want to confirm a regular slot, ask about a particular room, or arrange a viewing.
How do I arrange a viewing?
Please contact us by email, phone or contact form.
It helps if you include your profession or modality, whether you are interested in fixed or flexible room hire, and any preferred days, times or rooms.

Practical requirements
Do I need insurance?
Yes. Practitioners need suitable professional insurance for the work they carry out.
We may ask to see evidence of insurance before confirming room use.
What is the connection with Yogasara?
Bristol Therapy Rooms is offered by the same team as Yogasara and forms part of the wider Yogasara building and community. The £30 setup fee also includes the option to be listed on the Yogasara therapy team page with a photograph and short biography. Practitioners remain independent and responsible for their own professional work.
Cancellations and terms
What happens if I cancel an ad-hoc booking?
Flexible ad-hoc bookings can be cancelled through the online booking system up to 24 hours before the booking without charge.
How much notice applies to fixed weekly slots?
One calendar month’s notice is required to end a fixed-slot licence or reduce fixed weekly hours. No notice is required when swapping one fixed slot for another, subject to availability. The full hire agreement contains the detailed notice rules, including the initial period before notice can be given.
Is the full hire agreement available on the website?
The website gives a plain-English summary of the main terms. The full hire agreement is sent during onboarding and contains the detailed terms of room hire.
Who is responsible for clients and professional work?
Therapists are independent practitioners and remain responsible for their own clients, records, confidentiality, insurance, safeguarding responsibilities and professional obligations.
Bristol Therapy Rooms provides room hire only.
